In this week’s Masters in Business podcast -- our 100th episode! -- we chat with Jack Schwager,  author of “Market Wizards: Interviews With Top Traders," one of a series of four books that are among the most widely read on Wall Street.

Schwager discussed how he managed to persuade wary traders and asset managers to have long, on-the-record conversations with him. What made the series a success was the editing process -- turning discursive, rambling conversations into a coherent narrative by figuring out what these traders were really trying to say. Schwager, a former hedge fund manager, is co-founder of FundSeeker, which connects talented but little known traders with investment capital.
