Signal Media uses machine learning technology to let people filter through more than 3.5 million digital, print and broadcast media sources in real time – whether that’s to track a brand or competitor or monitor and analyse an industry. In January 2015, the business closed a $3.3 million seed funding round led by Frontline Ventures and the product launched in beta in May. Since then the company has gained 25 customers (including Jamie Oliver Group and Headhunter NBS Group) and hired 30 staff members.
