Busuu is a social network that connects budding students to native speakers of 12 different languages including English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic and Russian. It also provides interactive courses in these languages. The last 12 months have seen the platform add 10 million new customers, bringing the total user base to 60 million. The company has also closed a Series B funding round of $6.5 million with McGraw-Hill Education and doubled the size of its team.
