SL announces enhanced support for RTView Solace Monitor by releasing new functionality to monitor Solace Virtual Message Router (VMR) software. Now, Solace users can monitor all of their message routers, from appliances in the datacenter to VMRs in the cloud, using one convenient monitoring platform. These new Solace monitoring enhancements are available as both a standalone solution, RTView Solace Monitor, as well as a pluggable Solution Package for RTView Enterprise Monitor®. The Solace Monitor provides several pre-built monitoring displays and pre-configured alert thresholds designed to get user up and running quickly with no agents and no programming required. SL Corporation announced new versions of SL-GMS Developer for .NET (v4.6a) and SL-GMS C++/Developer (v6.7a). Both releases are available in 64-bit and 32-bit editions. Significant enhancements include an updated DXF Conversion Tool capable of supporting the latest AutoCAD versions and new Graph Elements for building custom, real-time, dynamic graphs. SL-GMS C++/Developer is SL’s long-standing development tool that enables dynamic visualization of real-time data. It is used by thousands of mission critical systems in control centers around the world for process control, facility and network monitoring, traffic control, and aerospace/defense. SL-GMS Developer for .NET is used to develop real-time applications using Microsoft Visual Studio in the .NET Framework. It enables rapid development of content-rich, high-performance dynamic graphics, utilizing real-time data with an application–specific Custom Editor. The DXF Conversion Tool included in the SL-GMS products converts DXF (Drawing Exchange Format) files, often used by facility monitoring systems, to SL-GMS model files. For example, converting a complicated floor CAD drawing, consisting of many facility equipment devices, eliminates the need to recreate it from scratch in the SL-GMSDraw editor. After deleting the unnecessary data from the converted model, the dynamic properties and data variables can be attached. This command tool has been enhanced to support the latest DXF up to AutoCAD 2017. In these new versions, V4.6a and V6.7a, a new Graph Elements demo sample and tutorial have been added to demonstrate how graphs can be built with the new Graph Elements features. For example, user can create graphs by dragging and dropping graph elements, like graph background, x/y axis, ticks and traces. Samples demonstrate some of the dynamic graph types that are possible with the new Graph Elements, including: various cluster/differential/staked bar graphs, horizontal/vertical/time axis trend-bar graphs, line-plotting/mark graphs, linear scatter graphs, linear-logarithmic/logarithmic graphs, filled polygon graphs, time axis plots and multi-color graph trace.
