It operates a cloud-based fulfillment platform for order and inventory management, integrating with other e-commerce platforms and automatic order importing from online marketplaces. In addition, the company offers SmartFill, an e-commerce fulfillment platform for eRetailers to outsource and automate e-commerce order fulfillment, while selling across multiple channels and maintaining control over the fulfillment process; and SmartShip that enables e-retailers to optimize the distribution of inventory across facilities. Further, it operates as an ocean transportation intermediary. The company was formerly known as Webgistix Corporation. Rakuten Super Logistics, Inc. was founded in 1988 and is based in Henderson, Nevada with additional offices in Olean, New York; County Antrim, Northern Ireland; and Brighton, Australia. It has distribution and sales offices in the United Kingdom and Singapore, as well as distribution centers in Bedford, United Kingdom; and Zurich, Switzerland. The company also has facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia. As of June 5, 2013, Rakuten Super Logistics, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Rakuten, Inc.
