Mahoney Environmental Announces New Eco-Conscious Fleet of Tractors and Trailers

Mahoney Environmental introduced new freightliner tractors and advance trailers at its 2017 Kickoff Meeting. This new convoy order for 2017 consists initially of 15 tractors and six trailers - all with eco-conscious specifications. The new power equipment will be operated on a five-year life cycle. The company said its new lightweight, high capacity combinations provides the ability to service more customers in a shorter timeframe. This fleet was built to hold more product and improve route efficiency. The increased capacity allows for trucks to run overnight routes, picking up twice as many stops, without the need to offload as often.

Mahoney Environmental Signs National Service Agreement with Carrols Corporation

Mahoney Environmental announced that it previously entered into an agreement for used cooking oil pick up and disposal, along with automated equipment replacement, with Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc. This multi-location agreement was signed in January of 2016 by Beau Mega, Director of Business Development and Sonny Nuccio, National Account Manager, under the advisory of Tim Zak, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Mahoney Environmental. Carrols franchises over 760 Burger King restaurants in 16 states. This contract grants Mahoney Environmental the exclusive, long-term rights to collect and recycle used cooking oil generated at Carrols Burger King locations for the majority of their restaurants.
