Mainstream Renewable Power Seeks Partnership

Mainstream Renewable Power Limited is looking for partners. The company stated that it is in the process of choosing a majority equity partner for the 448-MW Neart na Gaoithe wind project off Scotland. “Almost all the major players in the offshore wind sector are already in discussions with us," said Andy Kinsella, Chief Executive Officer of Mainstream. The company wants to keep "a significant minority interest" in the offshore wind project and see it through construction and into commercial operation.

Mainstream Renewable Reportedly Plans To Sell Wind Farm Project

Mainstream Renewable Power Limited plans to sell its wind farm project off the Scottish coast. Sources have said that Mainstream retained corporate financiers at KPMG in the past few months to sell the project. A spokesman for the company declined to comment on planned disposal.
