LAFCU has announced the promotion of DeWitt Township resident Amy Parker as assistant vice president of accounting. In this new position, Parker oversees accounting functions and accounting audits, ensures regulatory compliance in accounting, and assists in the development of new products and services. She has gained experience in many areas since joining LAFCU in 2006. She most recently served as accounting manager for three years. She has also worked in data analysis, corporate education development, internal bookkeeping and the call center, and was head teller at the main branch office.

LAFCU Promotes Todd Thelen to Vice President of Facilities

LAFCU promoted Todd Thelen to vice president of facilities. The 24-year LAFCU veteran succeeds Todd David, who retired as facilities manager. The position was retooled with expanded responsibilities that include development and deployment of strategic initiatives involving the credit union's nine branches, coordination of building allocation and expansion activities, and building research, modification and profitability analysis.
