Fazoli's announced it has appointed Jeff Sturgis as Chief Development Officer, Rodney Lee as Chief Financial Officer and Jodie Conrad as Vice President of Marketing. In his new role at Fazoli's, Sturgis will be responsible for driving the brand's franchise development efforts for the 200+ unit, leading fast casual Italian restaurant chain, in addition to leading strategic planning efforts and execution of all restaurant development, real estate and franchise sales activities. Prior to joining Fazoli's, Sturgis led franchise development efforts for McAlister's Deli, Fantastic Sam's and FOCUS Brands to name a few. Rodney Lee joined the company originally back in September 2008 as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, bringing with him a strong background in the restaurant industry, having previously served as CFO of 2JR Pizza Enterprises. Lee took a brief hiatus with Fazoli's, joining The Krystal Company functioning as the brand's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Lee rejoined the company in September, reprising his original role. Jodie Conrad, Vice President of Marketing 'Formerly serving as Fazoli's Senior Brand Director, Conrad was promoted to her new position as Vice President of Marketing in September 2017'. In Conrad's new role, she will be responsible for all marketing functions and product development for the brand. Fazoli's to Open Newest Franchised Restaurant in Milldale, Connecticut

Fazoli's announced the opening of its newest franchised restaurant in Milldale, Connecticut. Located at 1875 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike, the new restaurant will celebrate its opening on October 23, 2017 and will officially open to the public on October 24, 2017. The Milldale restaurant marks company's first location in the state. The company's debut restaurant in Connecticut is owned and operated by the TA Restaurant Group, a division of TravelCenters of America LLC (TravelCenters) and operator of the TA® and Petro Stopping Centers® travel center brands. The group has plans to open three more restaurants, with one set to open before the end of the year in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and the others slated for early 2018 openings in Monroe, Michigan and San Antonio, Texas.
Fazoli's Announces the Opening of Newest Restaurant at Maysville in Kentucky

Fazoli's announced the opening of its newest franchised restaurant in Maysville, marking a total of 34 Fazoli's locations in Kentucky to date. Located at 416 Market Square, the restaurant will celebrate its grand opening with the Maysville-Mason County Chamber of Commerce at a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 15 at 4:30 p.m. and will open to the public on May 16 at 10:30 a.m. As a grand opening bonus for the Maysville community, those who join the Maysville eFamily before opening day will be entered to win a $100 Fazoli's gift card. The winner will be contacted at the end of May. Local residents can sign up at fazolis.com/efamily. The new restaurant is owned by Kentucky residents Dan Markwell and John Collins of Morgan Servings, LLC. The two franchisees started their company in 2014 with the opening of their first Fazoli's restaurant in Morehead. The menu features pasta and sauces, breadsticks and salads freshly prepared throughout the day. Oven-baked dishes and Primo SubmarinosÂ® are baked when ordered and made with 100% real mozzarella and Provolone, plus vine-ripened tomatoes in authentic marinara sauce with garden vegetables. The company recently announced the complete removal of all artificial sweeteners, flavors, preservatives and colors from its food menu. Fazoli's supply chain is currently 80% free of all artificial ingredients and is on schedule to be completely clean by June 19, 2017.
