Aug 7 17
Skydance has extended its worldwide feature film production and distribution agreement with Paramount Pictures for an additional four years. Skydance and Paramount will together produce highly anticipated installments of the Mission: Impossible, Top Gun, and World War Z franchises as well as a re-launch of the Terminator franchise and original features Bermuda Triangle and Gemini Man, among other films that have not yet been announced. The new agreement also includes animated features, following Skydance’s recent formation of its animated division in partnership with Spain’s Ilion Animation Studios. Skydance’s first two animated films are Luck, a comedy from director Alessandro Carloni and writers Jonathan Aibel & Glenn Berger and Split, a fantasy project being directed by Vicky Jenson and written by Linda Woolverton.
