NAVYA Collaborates with Via to Launch New App

NAVYA is collaborating with Via to launch a new App that will integrate with the technology within NAVYA's AUTONOM CAB. Customers can easily and securely book and control their autonomous vehicle travel experience right from their smartphone. With the Via app, passengers can request a ride in NAVYA's AUTONOM CAB, control the vehicle's door opening once it arrives at the pickup spot, and command it to close the door and begin the ride once safely aboard.

Navya SAS Introduces First Navya Autonomous Taxis in North America

NAVYA introduced the AUTONOM CAB for the first time in North America with live demonstrations in the downtown Las Vegas Innovation District. As a valued partner, Keolis will be the first to operate the AUTONOM CAB in North America. In a decisive move toward creating smart cities, the totally electric-powered AUTONOM CAB provides an intelligent transport service for private or shared trips in urban centers. The cab was designed from the outset to be autonomous, just like all the vehicles in the AUTONOM range, meaning that there is no cockpit, steering wheel or pedals. Able to carry up to six passengers, AUTONOM CAB is a fluid, continuous and effective transportation solution. The AUTONOM CAB is capable of speeds up to 55 mph, but will average closer to 30 mph as it travels in urban areas to conform with local speed limits.
