Ichigo ECO Energy announced that it has appointed Takuma Hasegawa as Chairman & Director (Overall Company Management), Eiichiro Gotoh as President & Representative Director (Overall Company Management), Hiroshi Ikeda as Director, Nobuaki Yoshifusa as Director (Acquisitions & Sales) and Hiroaki Fujii as Director (Administration).

Ichigo ECO Energy Co Ltd Sets Up 2.5 MW Solar Plant in Hiroshima

Ichigo ECO Energy Co Ltd, has started operation of a mega (largescale) solar power plant in Seracho, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. The total capacity of solar panels set up at the plant is about 2.54 MW. About 9,600 panels were installed on the 2.54 MW solar power plant in Sera cho, Hiroshima Prefecture. The plant is expected to generate about 2,993,000 kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 830 households, per year. The purchasing price of power generated at the plant is ¥32/kWh.

Ichigo ECO Energy Co., Ltd. Wins Solar Power Plant Mandate from Tsu City, Mie Prefecture

On June 28, 2016, Ichigo ECO Energy Co. Ltd. was selected in an open public competition by Tsu City in Mie Prefecture as the best operator to develop a solar power plant on city-owned land that was formerly an incineration plant. After a thorough consultation on project details, Tsu City and Ichigo ECO Energy signed the final project agreement on August 2, 2016. Power plant site is located at 1382-2 Aza-Nakao, Katada Tanakacho, Tsu City, Mie Prefecture (part of a former incineration plant) and its area is 36,421 square meters. The construction of the Tsu City power plant is scheduled to start in April 2017. The expected panel output is 2.8 MW.
