For the six months, the bank made net profit of CZK 115 million, tripling the amount annually from CZK 39 million, which was caused mainly by an increase in the volume of provided loans. The significant profit rise was impacted mainly by consumer loans adding 38%. The bank expects to be profitable in the entire 2017.

The bank said, ongoing interest in loans supported by the European Investment Fund is one of the reasons behind the annual rise. Operating revenues increased by 29%. The positive trend of the bank's performance is driven by the sale of its key products, namely loans to individuals and businesses and current accounts.
