Halfbrick Studios is terminating its distribution agreement with iDreamsky Technology LTD. iDreamsky had the exclusive rights to distribute a suite of Halfbrick games in the greater China region, including Fruit Ninja™. The regional distribution agreement, in place since March 2014, enabled iDreamsky to produce and distribute a Chinese language version of Halfbrick’s hit mobile game Fruit Ninja in the China market through its channels and partnerships. The termination will take effect from December 20, 2016, and all licensed content will be transferred to Halfbrick, who will appoint a new operator to continue building the Fruit Ninja brand in China. Halfbrick is assessing several offers and opening up expressions of interest from other operators in the region. In addition to the original free-to-play mobile game, a new Fruit Ninja IP currently in development will form the basis of any new distribution deals.
iDreamSky Technology Limited has announced that it has filed a Form 15 with the Securities and Exchange Commission to voluntarily deregister its Class A and B ordinary shares under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended. The par value was $0.0001 per share.
