WaveMaker, Inc. Announces Software Upgrades to WaveMaker 9

WaveMaker, Inc. announced its latest software upgrade, WaveMaker 9. The tool, which revolutionized cloud-based development with zero DevOps required, and allowed globally distributed teams to collaborate and build apps seamlessly-now has a new user experience-focused interface. The latest version is a boon for users of the platform. Because 55% of visitors spend less than 15 seconds on a website, user-experience-driven engagement becomes extremely crucial. That's why the WaveMaker 9 upgrade focuses on a simplified and friendly first-time user experience. The new version is just the latest in a series of innovations that earned WaveMaker the prestigious Gold Stevie Award (American Business Award) in 2015. The upgrade comes with video tutorials and tool run-throughs that onboard fellow/partner developers and give them a clearer picture about the functions of all the components of the platform. Also, users don't have to leave the WaveMaker tool interface to seek out guiding documents. The latter are integrated inside the product itself, making it easier for users to consult the documentation rapidly and seamlessly. The true potential of the platform is revealed through this integration. Overall, this on-boarding experience is shaped from incisive analytical insights that ensure higher retention rate of, and smoother navigation for, users. The enhanced WaveMaker 9 UI is clutter-free, allowing users to focus better on developing apps using the RAD platform. A bolstered UI delivers a powerful but highly simplified user experience and engagement. API integration is omnipresent on September 20, 2017, however it requires advanced levels of coding for proper authentication, such as with OAuth. WaveMaker's latest version offers a much simpler OAuth 2.0 integration, which does not require writing a single line of code. Additionally, prefab integration has been upgraded in the release, so that new integrations can be added seamlessly to the platform without the need for an update. Prefabs are small, independent micro-apps that users can stack up to develop apps, and also test and deploy them. In future releases, WaveMaker plans to introduce more integrations and partnerships that result in release automation and, in turn, business agility. Studio is Now Rapid: Part of the WaveMaker family, WaveMaker Studio has been rechristened as Rapid, highlighting the increased pace of developing business apps through an enhanced user experience. All new upgrades to the WaveMaker family point to one outcome -- new users can now navigate and create apps more easily.

WaveMaker, Inc. Announces Professional Services Available for Rapid Mobile-App Development

WaveMaker, Inc. announced the most comprehensive professional services available for rapid mobile-app development. With the new services, professional and non-professional developers alike can speed the deployment of new apps, allowing their companies to enhance their competitive position, accelerate revenue capture, and relieve their overburdened IT departments. WaveMaker addresses the mounting challenge of enterprises to reduce the complexity of application development -- and, in particular, applications that must be developed for a variety of platforms or OS's in parallel. As an example, WaveMaker professional services address the increasing demand for mobile access to apps, and on platforms including Android, iOS, and Windows. Modernizing the front-ends of existing apps to add mobile capabilities using web technologies is more efficient and cost-effective than building native apps for each mobile platform. Three components are especially critical to improving app delivery times in today's market: Enterprises are demanding a best-practices approach to Agile development, to reduce development times and to ensure reusability of core app components; Developers expect to use micro-services architecture in app development, using individual pretested micro-services to simplify app design, testing, and go-live; and developers are demanding new tools to enable quicker service integrations by automating creation of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). The new services are designed to help enterprises propel development projects ahead, leveraging the inherent advantages of rapid app development. At the core of RAD is rapid prototyping, which allows developers to create "real looking" apps in a matter of days, and without slowing the full development lifecycle. In traditional services delivery, prototyping is intrusive and diverts development efforts from actual software development. With RAD, prototypes reveal the core functionality of an app rapidly, without necessitating a long approval and budgeting process. WaveMaker's new and expanded professional services offer complete, turn-key application development services. Services include: Development Services offer design, development and hosting of custom applications for enterprise customers. JumpstartServices are short-term consulting projects to jumpstart application development with help of WaveMaker experts at any stage of the delivery lifecycle. TrainingServices offer flexible options to get customers up to speed on WaveMaker RAD.
