Murray Goulburn In Talks With Buyers

Murray Goulburn Co-Operative Co. Limited may be sold and is in talks for same. According to the news report, Deutsche has been engaged for looking out for possible buyers. Parties reported receiving inbound calls from the bank about buying the company ahead of its results announcement. Potential buyers include Bega Cheese Limited (ASX:BGA), Lion-Dairy & Drinks Pty Ltd, Parmalat S.p.A. (BIT:PLT), Saputo Inc. (TSX:SAP) and Groupe Lactalis S.A. Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited (NZSE:FCG) is not said to be keen.

Grupo Lala SAB Reportedly Bids For Fabrica de Produtos Alimenticios Vigor

Grupo Lala, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV:LALA B) offered to acquire S.A. Fábrica de Produtos Alimentícios Vigor for nearly BRL 6 billion, Brazilian financial paper Valor reported. According to the report, Grupo Lala has been granted exclusivity to negotiate the potential purchase. The final price could end up being lower than Lala's initial offer as deliberations are ongoing, the paper added. Citing an unnamed source, Valor said that Lala has outbid the offer of Groupe Lactalis S.A., while also agreeing to a faster due diligence.

Lala And Lactalis Reportedly Expresses Interest In Sancor

Apart from Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited (NZSE:FCG), Grupo Lala, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV:LALA B) and Groupe Lactalis S.A. are also reportedly interested in acquiring Sancor Cooperativa de Seguros Ltda.
