City College Announces Centerplate as New On-Campus Dining Services Partner
Sep 14 17
The City College of New York announced a new dining services agreement with Centerplate that will bring an expanded menu of healthy and locally sourced fresh foods prepared by culinary trained chefs to new and renovated dining facilities and restaurants across the entire campus. Centerplate is well-respected as a leader in delivering sustainable, integrated facilities management and food service operations. It assumed operations prior to the start of the fall semester, with current meal plans remaining intact and no interruptions in campus food and meal services. The agreement was finalized only after a comprehensive review process, with input from a select group of technical advisers and feedback from students, faculty and staff across campus. The inherent focus of the search was on improving the overall quality of the dining experience at City College. Centerplate also plans to hold a series of informational town halls in the coming weeks to answer questions and offer a sneak peek at what the future holds.
