Cetera Financial Institutions Appoints Britt Woods as Vice President, Head of Relationship Management

Cetera Financial Institutions (CFI), part of Cetera Financial Group® (Cetera) announced that Britt Woods has joined CFI as Vice President, Head of Relationship Management, effective immediately. In his new role overseeing advisor recruiting and business consulting activities for CFI, Mr. Woods will report directly to the firm's President, LeAnn Rummel. He will be based in Franklin, TN, while spending significant time in the field with CFI's business consultants and recruiters, together with the bank and credit union wealth management programs and financial advisors they support. In addition to advisor recruiting, Mr. Woods' responsibilities in his new role will include helping the wealth management programs of CFI-affiliated institutions achieve their organic growth goals by increasing client wallet share and capitalizing on other opportunities to build same-store sales, as well as retention of existing financial institution relationships. He will work in conjunction with Executive Vice President and National Director of Business Development Sean Casey, who oversees CFI's institutional recruiting efforts. Mr. Woods most recently served at Fifth Third Bank as Vice President and Sales Manager, where he managed financial advisors, licensed bankers and sales assistants across three different affiliates. Prior to that, Mr. Woods served at NatCity Investments Inc., as Vice President and Financial Advisor, where he was named top financial advisor for seven consecutive years, while personally producing over $10 million in revenue during this tenure.

Cetera Financial Institutions Names Leann Rummel as President

Cetera Financial Institutions has said that LeAnn Rummel has been named president. In her new role, Rummel will oversee all aspects of the firm's operations and will lead the execution of CFI's growth initiatives and the further development of its wealth management platform for banks and credit unions. She will report directly to Catherine Bonneau, who remains CEO of Cetera Financial Institutions. With over 30 years of financial services experience, Rummel joined PrimeVest Financial Services, which later became Cetera Financial Institutions, in 1992. Most recently, she served as CFI's national sales director, responsible for all sales functions, including financial institution relationship management, sales support, product management, Rep on Demand representative recruitment, sales supervision and strategic partner relations. In addition to her role as CFI president, she is part of the firm's executive committee and acts as president of its insurance agencies.

Cetera Investment Services Promotes Leann Rummel to President

Cetera Investment Services has promoted LeAnn Rummel, national sales director, to president. Catherine Bonneau will remain as CEO and work more closely with senior management, giving the bank business a larger voice companywide. Rummel, a 24-year veteran of Cetera, will focus on all aspects of the business in her new role. Her move, in turn, will create opportunities for other people at the firm to assume expanded responsibilities. Rummel currently oversees all sales functions, including financial institution relationship management, advisor recruitment, sales support and Rep on Demand, a tool that Cetera offers to banks to provide advisors on an ad-hoc basis as they're needed. Rummel is also a BISA board member.
