Weller will work from the bank's Dubai office, reporting to Damian Bunce, who became chief client officer Feb. 19. Weller most recently served as managing director and global head of PAO Sberbank of Russia's foreign-exchange business.
Saxo Bank and Banca Generali Enter into Trading Agreement

Saxo Bank and Banca Generali have signed an eight-year trading agreement. The two firms have signed the agreement to provide online trading and investment services to Italian clients. The firms are to offer customers in Italy access to an advanced trading platform powered by technology from Saxo Bank. They are to form a joint venture (JV) called BG SAXO Sim and it is to have a separate board of directors, comprising seven new members. The companies can extend the agreement at the end of the expiry period.
Saxo Bank Appoints Vivienne Yu as Chief Executive Officer of Greater China

Saxo Bank has appointed Vivienne Yu as chief executive officer of Greater China. In her new role, Vivienne will assume overall responsibility for expanding Saxo Bank's services and customer base and drive strategic business growth in the Greater China region, including offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai. The appointment will be effective from March 15. Vivienne will also manage and develop relationships with key stakeholders and partners in China and Hong Kong. Prior to this appointment, Vivienne worked for Commonwealth Bank of Australia as CEO China. She has also worked with Bank of Hangzhou (listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange) and Australia Chamber of Commerce.
