Benteler International AG Announces Construction of New Plant in Poland

Benteler International AG announced that its Automotive business division is constructing a new plant in Poland. It is BENTELER Automotive's second modules plant in the region, the first being in Kaluga (Russia). In future, at this new plant in Wrzesnia near Poznan, front-end and chassis modules will be produced from individual components for the next generation of the Volkswagen Crafter. These will be delivered to the specified point of use, in the quantity and sequence the customer demands, and at the required time. From 2018 onwards BENTELER Automotive will be producing an average of over 100,000 vehicle modules per year, on 5,300 square meters of production space in close proximity to the VW plant. By the end of 2017 this will generate around 100 new jobs.

Benteler International to Invest in New Components Plant in Czech Republic

Benteler International has announced that it will invest in a new components plant in the Czech Republic. Its fifth plant will go into operation at the end of 2017 and will focus on the production of lightweight components made of aluminum and hot-formed steel parts. Up to 500 new jobs will be created at the industrial park near Klasterec nad Ohri.
