Port Logistics Group Announces Management Changes

Port Logistics Group announced that Jeff Wolpov, former President and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of company, has been named its Chief Executive Officer. Greg Morello, former Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer at company, has assumed the role of President and CCO at the company. Bob Stull, former CEO of Port Logistics Group, has assumed the role of Chairman of the company's Board of Directors. All three executives are seasoned logistics. Wolpov and Morello will lead the company as it embarks on a new growth strategy. Notably, the company is broadening its offerings that serve its established customer base of leading national retailers and manufacturers to attract direct-to-consumer customers as emerging "e-tailer" (online-only) brands. Greg will have responsibility for growth, customer relationship management, product development and new ecommerce platform. Prior to founding Port Logistics Group, Stull led Roadway Express Inc. as President after starting in an entry-level position decades earlier.

Port Logistics Group, Inc. announced the appointment of Ruben Morales as Senior Vice President of West Coast Operations. Morales brings more than 20 years of operational experience with ecommerce fulfillment and omnichannel distribution acquired during his roles at Toys "R" Us, Office Depot, and other retail, wholesale and logistics companies. Morales will report directly to Robert Stull, Chief Executive Officer of Port Logistics Group. Morales will be based at the company's City of Industry, CA headquarters location and will be responsible for all West Coast gateway locations, including 3.7 million square feet of dedicated and multi-client warehouse space and regional trucking operations in Southern CA, and 600,000 square feet of warehousing and transportation operations at the Seattle/Tacoma gateway. Most recently Morales was the Executive Director – Western U.S. Ecommerce Fulfillment & Retail Distribution Operations of Toys "R" Us and was responsible for 6 Regional Distribution Centers that process ecommerce orders and retail replenishment. He was also responsible for apparel and hard-line global 3PL import operations. Prior to joining Toys "R" Us, Morales served as Senior Director – Supply Chain Operations at Office Depot where he managed Office Depot's Northern California supply chain operations, including B2B distribution and transportation, retail replenishment, and ecommerce fulfillment.
Topson Downs Selects Port Logistics Group for Omnichannel Logistics Services

Port Logistics Group announced it has secured a multi-year service contract with Topson Downs. Under the agreement, Port Logistics Group, as a third-party logistics provider (3PL) offering B2B and B2C supply chain solutions, will manage the U.S. distribution and fulfillment for Topson Downs from its retail distribution campus in Chino, CA. The 3PL is providing full-scale services, overseeing the complex flow of Topson Downs' direct-to-consumer and retail orders. The partnership allows Topson Downs to focus on its core competency of designing on-trend apparel.
