Standard Solar, Inc. announced it will finance a 9.8 megawatt solar project to provide power to the City of Gallup (Gallup), New Mexico. The single-axis tracker array is expected to generate more than 20 million kilowatt-hours of power annually providing nearly 10% of the city's energy use. The 28,896 solar module single-axis tracker system is designed to maximize production yield for the system. The solar farm is being constructed on approximately 31 acres of city-owned land south of Interstate Highway 40, between Allison Road and MuA±oz Overpass,and is being financed through a solar power purchase agreement (PPA).Standard Solar provides in-house financing and is a ready source of funding for solar PV projects nationally.
Standard Solar Announces Completion of Solar Installation with Salisbury University

Standard Solar announced the completion of its solar installation with Salisbury University (SU). Standard Solar constructed and will operate, own and maintain the 541.8 kilowatt (kW) solar system featuring four solar canopies and five electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The canopies will cover a parking lot to provide shade for the University’s Parking Lot H, as well power to the adjacent educational buildings. Completed in fewer than three months, the 541.8 kW DC system is comprised of 1,548 modules that will produce 765,100 kilowatt hours of electricity annually and provide electricity to three campus buildings. The system is expected to provide the equivalent of 100% of the electricity needed to power the combined annual operation of three SU residence halls: Manokin, Pocomoke and Wicomico. The system features Quest Renewables QuadPod™ double cantilever which enabled the rapid project installation timeline. With three foundations per 100 kW, the QuadPod double cantilever can be applied to any parking lot configuration irrespective of parking spot width or drive aisle dimensions. 90% of QuadPod’s construction takes place on the ground, inclusive of module and inverter wiring. After ground assembly which includes nearly all electrical and lighting, the canopies are then lifted by crane for final installation, minimizing overhead work and optimizing worksite safety. The system also features five EV charging stations, more than tripling the number on campus.
Standard Solar Completes 1.4 Megawatt Ground Mount Solar Project for Anne Arundel County Public Schools

Standard Solar announced that it has completed a 1.4 Megawatt (MW) ground mount solar project for Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS). The AACPS portfolio consists of 125 schools and nine administrative buildings. Standard Solar developed and constructed the project, and financed the array located on six acres of school system-owned land at the Fort Smallwood Facilities complex in Pasadena. The 1.399 MW ground mount array, financed by Standard Solar through a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA), features nearly 4,000 panels that will produce 1,971 megawatt hours of electricity annually.
