MPLX GP LLC and Marathon Pipe Line LLC Announce Board Changes

MPLX LP reported the departure of Craig O. Pierson as vice president of Operations of its general partner MPLX GP LLC as well as president of its Marathon Pipe Line LLC subsidiary. Effective January 1, 2017, Timothy J. Aydt will replace Pierson as vice president of Operations and president of Marathon Pipe Line, reporting to John Swearingen, MPC senior vice president of Transportation and Logistics and vice president, Crude Oil and Refined Products Pipelines of MPLX`s general partner. Currently, Aydt is the general manager, Terminal, Transport & Rail, at Marathon Petroleum Corporation. Previously, Aydt was the general manager of MPC's Terminal, Transport & Rail, project director of Detroit Heavy Oil Upgrade Project as well as pipeline engineer at MPC.
