The Board of Directors of Lum Chang Holdings Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lum Chang Building Contractors Pte Ltd, has been awarded a contract for building works at an integrated development located at 2 Serangoon Road. The Contract, valued at SGD 85.7 million, is awarded by Corwin Holding Pte Ltd. a joint venture vehicle for the Company and a fund managed by LaSalle Investment Management Asia Pte Ltd. The scope of the contract includes the demolition of the existing main block and its reconstruction for use as a retail podium and serviced residence. The adjoining annex block will undergo major refurbishment to eventually include a retail component, carpark facilities and rooftop commercial-cum-cultural space. The target completion for the Contract is expected to be in the second half of 2019. The contract is not expected to have a material impact on the Group's profits for the current financial year ending 30 June 2018. This latest award brings the total outstanding value of construction works yet to be reported as revenue, to SGD 600.0 million.
Lum Chang Building Contractors Pte Ltd Wins SGD 325 Million Contract by the Land Transport Authority

Lum Chang Holdings Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lum Chang Building Contractors Pte Ltd, has secured a tender for the addition and alteration works to the existing Tanah Merah Station and existing viaducts. The contract T315, valued at SGD 325 million is awarded by the Land Transport Authority. The scope of works for contract T315 includes the construction of an additional platform and concourse in Tanah Merah Station along with two entrances linked by an underpass near the Tanah Merah Kechil Avenue intersection and related road and drainage works. It also includes the addition of tracks and viaducts to run parallel to the existing EWL reception tracks connecting to and forming junctions with the EWL, and connections to the new depot. Construction works for the additional platform are expected to start by the end of 2016 and is targeted for completion in 2024.

The Board of Directors of Lum Chang Holdings Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lum Chang Building Contractors Pte Ltd. has secured a tender for the construction of a 14-storey high-specification industrial building located at the junction of Boon Keng Road and Kallang Place, which also includes asset enhancement works to three existing buildings. The contract, valued at SGD 60.8 million, is awarded by DBS Trustee Limited (as Trustee of Mapletree Industrial Trust). In addition to the construction of the new 14-storey multi-user high-specification building with two-storey carpark, the scope of the contract also includes upgrading works for three existing buildings. The upgrading works are required for lift lobbies and corridors, and also encompass modernization of the lifts and lift car replacements. The contract period is 19 months and will be carried out over seven phases. The works are expected to commence on 1 August 2016. The project is not expected to have a material financial impact on the Lum Chang Group's profits for the current financial year ending 30 June 2017. This latest award brings the total outstanding value of construction projects still in progress to SGD 558 million.
