Church & Dwight Co. Inc. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended of March 31, 2018. For the quarter, the company’s net sales were $1,006.0 million compared to $877.2 million a year ago. Income from operations was $220.3 million compared to $196.1 million a year ago. Income before income taxes was $200.7 million compared to $190.2 million a year ago. Net income was $157.8 million or $0.63 per diluted share compared to $131.5 million or $0.51 per diluted share a year ago. Net cash from operating activities was $155.5 million compared to $131.5 million a year ago. Capital expenditures were $9.9 million compared to $2.8 million a year ago. Adjusted diluted EPS was $0.63 against $0.52 a year ago.
For the second quarter of 2018, The company expects reported sales growth of 12% and organic sales growth of 3%.
