PepsiCo México announced that after 30 years of service in PepsiCo and to promote a sustained growth and a consistent transformation of the business in Mexico, inspired by a deep knowledge and respect for the market, its communities and its consumers, Pedro Padierna leaves the position of President of PepsiCo México, to assume the responsibility of President of the PepsiCo Mexico Board. In this new stage, Paula Santilli, until now Senior Operating Vice President of PepsiCo Alimentos Mexico, will assume the position of President of PepsiCo Alimentos México, to head the operations of this subsidiary of PepsiCo. During the 25 years in which she has collaborated with PepsiCo, Paula has delivered solid results, developing business plans and strengthening brands that satisfy the preferences and demands of consumers in Mexico and other Latin American countries. He has been Vice President and General Manager of Sabritas in Mexico, has held various leadership roles in Beverages in Mexico, as well as in Food and Snacks in the Southern Cone region of Latin America, and has been in charge of regional business management of Quaker Foods and Gatorade in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. Pedro Padierna has been the architect of the growth of PepsiCo's business in different categories and geographies, as well as the development and management of talent for Mexico and the Latin American region. Known for being a 'bridge builder' within the company, in his new role as Chairman of the PepsiCo Mexico Board, Pedro will be a key player in bringing the company's activity closer to public policies that generate a positive impact on society. In addition, he will be in charge of the company's proper relationship with the communities in which it operates, strengthening PepsiCo's sustainability agenda, known as Performance with Sense, in which the topic of talent development takes on an important role.
