TeleSign announced expanded global coverage for Two-Way SMS through its SMS Verify and SMS APIs. TeleSign Hires Tom Powledge as Chief Product Officer

TeleSign announced it has hired Tom Powledge as Chief Product Officer, reporting directly to CEO Aled Miles. In this newly created role, he is responsible for overseeing product strategy and management at TeleSign. Powledge comes to TeleSign from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) where he was the Vice President and General Manager for ArcSign. In this role, Powledge was responsible for strategy, product management, business development and engineering of HPE’s security information and event management product. Prior to HPE, Powledge was Vice President of Managed Security Services at Cisco Systems, where he led all aspects of service development and delivery for the team that provides advanced threat detection and security management to enterprises around the globe.

TeleSign Strengthens Mobile Identity Portfolio with Behavior ID Launch

TeleSign announced the launch of TeleSign Behavior ID, a new offering that enables web and mobile applications to measure and analyze a user’s behavioral biometrics in order to provide continuous authentication, even after the user has been verified with traditional security measures such as passwords. The product works behind-the-scenes to collect and evaluate a complex mix of mouse dynamics, keystrokes, graphical user interface (GUI) interaction and advanced behavioral algorithms to establish a unique user profile. With this profile, Behavior ID can help prevent account takeover attempts even if a hacker is in possession of a user’s correct account credentials.
