Mayer Brown Announces Management Changes

Mayer Brown has appointed Jeremy Clay as its next global managing partner. Clay, who is the firm's current global head of real estate, was appointed by the firm's partnership board and management committee to the new role. He is replacing Ken Geller, who has decided to step down from the role after almost a decade in charge of the firm. Geller was on the management committee of the firm for 23 years, filling the role of global managing partner since 2009. Clay is the first London-based partner to fill the role of global managing partner. Clay will split his time across the firm's London and New York offices, and is expected to also continue to maintain a role working with some of the firm's major real estate clients.
