As Per Sources, HNA, Partner To Buy 245 Park For $2.2 Billion

SL Green Realty Corp. (NYSE:SLG) and an unidentified partner are in contract to acquire 245 Park Avenue for $2.21 billion, The Real Deal has learned. Brookfield Property Partners L.P. (NYSE:BPY) and the New York State Teachers’ Retirement System put the 1.8 million-square-foot office tower between East 46th and 47th streets on the market in November 2016. Sources said RXR Realty LLC, The Blackstone Group L.P. (NYSE:BX), L&L Holding Company, LLC, SL Green Realty Corp. (NYSE:SLG) and Vornado Realty Trust (NYSE:VNO) were also among the bidders. CBRE’s Darcy Stacom and William Shanahan represented the sellers. They declined to comment. Representatives for Brookfield and HNA could not immediately be reached.
