She also unpacks the role private markets play in rapidly evolving themes, like AI.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is really important for the new innovation that&#8217;s coming into the market,&#8221; she says. &#8220;A lot of it does come in the private market space, so something that we track really closely is that intersection. An example of that, for instance, is we currently have a database of private companies that we&#8217;ve also mapped to themes, which has been exciting to look at and see how it translates into what we&#8217;ve done on the public equity side&#8230; AI names have been investing quite heavily in the private market space and in private companies especially,&#8221; she notes. &#8220;It allows us to get a really good idea as to how some of these public [AI companies] are investing or leaning in potentially towards growth or where they&#8217;re seeing opportunity related to their own business models.
