Approved Reporting Mechanism (ARM) Europe
Overview
Bloomberg operates an Approved Reporting Mechanism (ARM), providing functionality that allows clients to meet transaction reporting requirements for MiFID II.
Under MiFID II, investment firms are required to submit transaction reports containing up to 65 data fields including LEIs (legal entity identifiers), personal and trade data to local regulators, known as National Competent Authorities (NCAs).
Transaction Reporting for MiFID II
The Bloomberg ARM undertakes the required MiFID II validations. Transactions that fail validation are identified to the client in real time. An outbound feed/API with this detail is also available to clients.
