Andrea Orcel began his career in 1987 at Midland Montagu in Fixed Income. In 1988 he moved to Goldman Sachs and in 1990 he joined The Boston Consulting Group. From 1992 to 2012, Andrea worked for Merrill Lynch (then Bank of America), with a number of senior positions: Executive Chairman of the Investment Bank and President of Emerging Markets ex Asia (2009), President of International Global Banking, Securities & Wealth Management; Head of International Corporate and Investment Banking (2009), Head of Global Origination, President of EMEA Global Markets & Investment Banking and member of Merrill Lynch Management Committee (2007), Head of Origination and Co-President of Global Markets and Investment Banking for Europe, Middle East & Africa (2004), Head of Global Financial Institutions Group (2003), Co-Head of Financial Institutions Group for Europe, Middle East & Africa (1999). Riccardo Barbieri Hermitte

Dr. Riccardo Barbieri Hermitte was appointed Director General of the Treasury in January 2023. In his position, Dr. Barbieri oversees the management of public debt, banking and financial sector policies, macroeconomic analysis and forecasting, the drafting of official economic and fiscal policy documents, European economic and financial relations, and international financial relations, including multilateral developments banks, the IMF and the OECD. Dr. Barbieri is the Deputy of the Economy and Finance Minister at the G7, G20 and IMF-World Bank Meetings, and a member of the Economic and Financial Committee (EFC) and the Euro Working Group of the European Union, as well as of the Board of Directors of the European Stability Mechanism. He is the chair of the SCIMF sub-committee of the EFC, which coordinates the EU position vis-à-vis the IMF. In addition, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (Italy’s national development bank). Dr. Barbieri started his career as an academic economist at Bocconi University in Milan, where he previously graduated with honors in Economics and Social Sciences, and subsequently studied and worked at New York University, U.S.A., where he earned a Ph.D. in Economics. He then had a twenty-five-year career in the financial markets, with the longest stints at JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America and Mizuho, before joining the Italian Treasury as Chief Economist in August 2015.

Tyrone is a Partner in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on European direct lending and covers the French and Southern European markets. He serves as a member of Ares Credit Group's European Direct Lending Investment Committee and the Ares Sports, Media and Entertainment Investment Committee. Prior to joining Ares in 2009, Tyrone was a Managing Director at HSBC France, where he focused on managing the Paris leveraged finance team. Previously, he was a Director with the Paris-based teams of Barclays Capital, The Royal Bank of Scotland and Societe Generale. Tyrone holds a B.A., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in Political Science and an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics in Economics. He has additionally completed graduate coursework at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

James Seppala is the Chairman of Blackstone Europe and the Head of Real Estate Europe. Based in London, he joined Blackstone in 2011. Prior to Blackstone, Mr. Seppala was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs & Co, where he spent 10 years focused on equity and debt investment opportunities in Europe and the United States on behalf of Goldman Sachs’s real estate private equity group. Mr. Seppala graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College in 2001. Mr. Seppala currently serves as Chairman of BEPIF. He also serves on the Imperial College Council, the Imperial College Endowment Board, the advisory board of the Academy of Real Assets, is a governor of the John Lyon's Foundation, and serves on the European Advisory Board of the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center at the Wharton School.

Business lawyer, specialized in corporate matters and corporate governance, strategy and sustainability, Claudia Parzani is a Senior Advisor at the global law firm Linklaters, where she was a partner and covered key managerial roles at a global level. She gained experience working with Italian and international law firms, assisting Italian and international banks and corporates in the context of the most complex extraordinary transactions. She is also Chair of the Italian Stock Exchange, a Senior Advisor at Brunswick, and non-executive director at Stellantis N.V. In the past, she was Deputy Chair of Il Sole 24 Ore S.p.A., Chair of Allianz S.p.A., served as an external member of the Board of Directors of the higher education institution Politecnico di Milano and covered the role of non-executive director for listed and not listed companies. Jean-Paul (JP) Zammitt is President of Bloomberg Bloomberg LP and is a member of the Bloomberg LP Management Committee. Over his more than 20-year career with Bloomberg, Mr. Zammitt has worked in management roles across Sales, Product Development, Strategy and Operations. He currently oversees all aspects of the company's Financial Solutions business. This includes the Bloomberg Terminal, as well as comprehensive and integrated enterprise solutions across buy- and sell-side workflows. Tommaso Ebhardt is the Southern Europe Managing Editor at Bloomberg News. Ebhardt started his Bloomberg career as a TV anchor in 2005 before shifting into reporting in 2009 covering the automotive industry in Italy, and then later becoming a senior reporter focused on Italian business dynasties. He's the author of two biographies -- 'Sergio Marchionne' in 2019 and 'Leonardo Del Vecchio' in 2022 -- which together sold more than 100,000 copies. In May, he published an updated version of his book on Marchionne looking at the long-term the legacy of the former Fiat and Ferrari boss. He still plays rugby and strums the ukulele with his kids.
