From Past to Future: the Next Frontier of Carbon Analysis

As climate regulation and investor expectations evolve, the focus of carbon analysis is shifting, from understanding past emissions to anticipating future ones. Investors and institutions are increasingly looking beyond historical emissions data to assess how companies’ emissions are expected to change and what that means for portfolio risk and alignment.

Join us as we unpack how forward-looking carbon data, from corporate targets and performance tracking to emissions forecasts, is reshaping how investors measure and manage exposure to high-emitting sectors.

Learn how Bloomberg is simplifying this complex landscape by integrating and standardizing carbon targets and forecast data. Spend less time cleaning and reconciling data, and more time turning insights into action: in reporting, risk management, and investment decisions.

Don’t miss this session to see real-world applications of emissions forecasts and target data that help assess corporate transition pathways and align portfolios with a low-carbon future.
