Gaurav Patankar is an investment and fintech executive with a track record of leading and transforming investment organizations, portfolios and products building important institutional relationships globally. Over his 22-year career, Gaurav has invested and allocated capital globally and across multiple asset classes including equities, alternatives, fixed income, infrastructure and real/operating assets. Presently, he serves as the Head of Strategy - Alternatives & OCIO Solutions at Bloomberg Intelligence with a keen focus on building and triangulating Bloomberg’s value proposition within pensions, endowments, foundations, family offices and asset managers. Gaurav previously served as the OCIO of a multi-billion family office –Atharva A&C. Prior to his OCIO journey, Gaurav was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Mellon Investment Management where he managed the global emerging markets research and portfolio teams across multiple strategies. He also led key strategic dialogues with UHNW, SWF and Endowment & Foundation clients as the thought leader on emerging markets. Prior to Mellon, Gaurav was a Portfolio manager of Global absolute-return strategies at the Lockheed Martin Investment Management Co (Pension Plan) where he successfully turned around the firm’s alternative portfolio and built out the firm’s managed account platform. Before that, he served as a Vice President and Sector Head of Emerging-Markets and Global Financials at Millennium Management, LLC, as an equity research analyst at SuNova Capital and Citigroup Investment Research covering large and mid-cap banks. Prior to his investment career, Gaurav was a Corporate Strategist at M&T Bank and an entrepreneur in India where he co-founded Information Interface India Ltd (promoter of Niyogin Fintech Limited BSE: NIYOGIN_IN). In 2016, Gaurav led prominent investors to reverse merge the firm with a listed NBFC working closely with key stakeholders and regulators to create India’s first listed fintech company. Gaurav helped put together a high quality board, institutional investors and a top notch management team.

Marvin is a BI Equity Strategist covering China and North Asian equities. Marvin has over 10 years of research experience covering Greater China. Prior to joining Bloomberg, he spent over 8 years at J.P. Morgan, beginning with the economics team, covering Asia regional and Greater China, and later expanded coverage to include China equity strategy, bringing a macro top-down approach. Marvin also has sector research experience covering China financials at various sell-side brokerages. Marvin holds a master's degree in finance from the University of Hong Kong and received his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Kumar Gautam

Kumar spent eight years as a senior quantitative analyst with Scientific Beta, a part of SGX and EDHEC Business School, in France. He worked on research and development of quantitative equity strategies for pension funds and asset managers in North America and Europe. His research focused on factor investing, Smart Beta strategies, ‘quantamental’ strategies and integration of ESG considerations into equity portfolios. He also led the development of bespoke quantitative strategies and analytics for the company’s institutional clients.

Kumar received his MSc in Finance from EDHCE Business School and was the winner of national level award for quantitative research given by CFA, France.

Nitin Chanduka

Nitin has spent close to a decade working in Asia Portfolio Strategy at Goldman Sachs. He has extensive experience of analyzing investment opportunities from top-down as well as bottom-up experience. He has also developed various bespoke thematic baskets and strategies for institutional clients. Prior to Goldman, he worked at a proprietary trading desk in Mumbai where he was involved in developing quantitative trading strategies and mechanical trading systems across globally listed derivative products.

Nitin has done his B. Tech and M. Tech from IIT, Delhi and is a CFA and FRM charter-holder.

Sufianti Sufianti

Sufianti joined Bloomberg Intelligence as the Emerging Market Equity Strategy Associate in 2021. Prior to joining Bloomberg, she worked as a Research Analyst for the Microstrategy team in Jefferies Hong Kong and Microstrategy Associate in CLSA. She holds a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from Xiamen University, China and a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Mathematics from Pelita Harapan University, Indonesia. She is also a CFA charterholder.
