Sean Murphy

Based in New York, Sean is a member of Bloomberg’s Equity Index Product team. He is focused on the construction and commercialization of equity indices, methodology management, and product positioning. As part of his role, Sean works with investors of all types including asset managers, asset owners, consultants, and wealth management firms. He has over 20 years of experience in the index and ETF space, having begun his professional career at Citi in 2002. There he spent over 10 years as an Equity & ETF sales trader. He then joined BlackRock’s iShares in 2014, where he served as an ETF product consultant, serving as a subject matter expert on their index-based ETFs. He later joined Northern Trust Asset Management as a Senior Equity Strategist, working extensively with teams managing portfolios for high net-worth individuals and foundations. Sean has his M.B.A. from Fordham University and is a CFA charterholder.
Michael Pruzinsky

Michael Pruzinsky is an Equity Index Product Manager for Bloomberg Indices, based in New York. He has more than 15 years of experience working with the buy-side and is responsible for index development, go-to-market, and overall product strategy. Michael has created and launched hundreds of indices, including the Bloomberg Magnificent 7 Index. Previously, he held multiple client-facing roles, including on Bloomberg’s portfolio analytics & risk team, where he supported the transition from Barclays POINT to Bloomberg PORT. He holds a B.A. in Business Economics from Brown University.
