Bloomberg Wins Best Overall Market Data Provider for the Sixth Consecutive Year at the TradingTech Insight Awards USA

We are excited to announce that Bloomberg has won Best Overall Market Data Provider for its real-time market data feed, B-PIPE, at the TradingTech Insight Awards USA 2024. This marks the sixth consecutive year Bloomberg has won the category.

As Bloomberg’s flagship market data feed, B-PIPE delivers consolidated and normalized real-time streaming market data, pricing, event data and analytics to service the full spectrum of front-office use cases. Customers who use B-PIPE unlock low-latency access to 35 million instruments across all asset classes, aggregated data from over 350 exchanges and more than 5,000 contributors, and proprietary Bloomberg-generated pricing sources and market indices.

B-PIPE provides customers with differentiated data quality and reliability and a high degree of technical flexibility as it enables Bloomberg’s tick for tick market data and supplemental services to be accessible from anywhere, including globally in all three major public cloud providers.

This platform has always provided the high-performing, reliable distribution of market data and pricing contributions but has recently been enhanced to offer a suite of event driven content and analytics that can be used alongside pricing to help drive trading decisions. Newly released content includes a Corporate Earnings service which provides results and guidance for market-moving key performance indicators (KPIs), as reported by companies via press releases, web releases and news embargoes, and a New Issues feed which makes it easy to identify new deals across multiple asset classes and monitor their evolution from public announcement to priced stages. All of these solutions can be consumed via a single API, on-prem or in the cloud, and controlled via EMRS, Bloomberg’s web-based solution for entitlements management.
