Bloomberg Wins at the 2025 ETF Express European ETF Awards for Fourth Consecutive Year

Bloomberg is proud to announce that it has won four awards at the 2025 ETF Express European ETF Awards for the fourth year running across the following categories:

  • Best Index Provider – Fixed Income ETFs
  • Best Index Provider – Commodity ETFs
  • Best ETF RFQ Platform
  • Best OTC/Dark Pool ETF Execution Venue

Bloomberg’s recognition as the “Best Index Provider” for Fixed Income and Commodity ETFs underscores its commitment to delivering benchmarks that align with industry needs and investor preferences. In the past year, Bloomberg launched new commodities indices products to best support investors including BERY Sectors Indices and the Bloomberg Commodity Murban Crude Oil Index, which supplement the Bloomberg Commodity Index suite with over USD 100 billion in assets. Bloomberg also launched the Bloomberg US Leveraged Loan Index, covering 1,300 leveraged loans with $1.3 trillion in market value, expanding access and insights into this traditionally opaque asset class.

“We’re delighted to be recognized as the best index provider for both fixed income and commodities for the fourth consecutive year. Our continued leadership in these areas is thanks to Bloomberg’s focus on high-quality index offerings that meet the needs of today’s markets, as well as partnerships with our valued clients. These wins are also wins for our clients running successful products on these indices” said Erik Rotander, Head of EMEA Relationship Management and Sales at Bloomberg Index Services Limited.

Bloomberg’s leading ETF trading solution, RFQe, was again recognized for “Best ETF RFQ Platform” and “Best OTC/Dark Pool ETF Execution Venue.” The wins highlight the strength of Bloomberg’s ETF trading offering, which is designed to meet investors’ evolving needs, while providing them with access to more than 200 liquidity providers. Clients also benefit from a robust suite of news, data, pre- and post-trade analytics, and communication tools, supporting a wide range of asset classes while offering seamless workflows.

“We are thrilled that RFQe has won these awards for four years running. It is a recognition of the continued support from our clients and the hard work of our teams at Bloomberg,” said Paul Kaplan, Global Head of Equities at Bloomberg. “We’re focused on delivering efficiency and continuing to deliver scalable solutions that enrich workflows and the overall trading experience.”

The annual ETF Express European Awards aim to acknowledge outstanding performance of ETF issuers and service providers in Europe in various categories such as equity, fixed income, commodity, smart beta, thematic, active, and ESG. Nominees are selected through a comprehensive survey of over 100 issuers and other key industry participants, and the voting for all of the winners is conducted via an online poll by ETF Express readership.

*RFQe is global and operated by Bloomberg affiliates across Europe, the US, and APAC.
