Denis is passionate about helping institutions unlock value through technology, AI tools and workflow innovation. He holds a degree from the University of Manchester's Business School and is a frequent contributor to regional market dialogues.

Sander Verbrugge

Sander works to bridge the gap between disruptive technologies and profitable businesses. He has more than six years of strategy consulting experience at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. He previously held positions at NXP Semiconductors, where he acquired a deep understanding of technology and successful business practices. He worked on global technology scouting efforts led by the CTO. He was also part of the central PMI team for a successful M&A with Freescale and Co-Lead for PMI of the Sales and Marketing Organisations for an intended M&A with Qualcomm. He additionally managed a global business development team focused on IoT Security. In early 2019, Sander started at Innovation Industries, focusing on the high-tech part of the portfolio. He was heavily involved in the early-stage efforts of the fund and held a supervisory board seat in multiple portfolio companies. Sander holds a Master’s degree from TU Delft and a PhD in Molecular Biophysics from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Eduardo Henrique de Mello Motta Loyo is a partner and member of the Board of Directors of BTG Pactual. Prior to joining the company as the chief economist in 2007, he was the International Monetary Fund’s executive officer, in Washington, D.C., elected by Brazil and other 8 countries from the Western Hemisphere. From 2003 to 2005, he was an officer at the Central Bank of Brazil and a member of the Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee (Copom). He was a professor in the Department of Economics of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University; a visiting professor at Graduate School of Business – Columbia University; and at INSEAD. Additionally, he served as an officer for the Institute for Economic Policy Studies – Casa das Garças in Rio de Janeiro, and for the Center for Public Policy Debate (CDPP), in São Paulo. He has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Economics from PUC-Rio and a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University.

Starting as government bond market maker in 1992, followed by an episode as a CTA hedge fund manager, he switched to the buy-side in 2005. In 2009 he joined DPAM as senior fund manager corporate bonds becoming CIO Fixed Income in 2016. Peter holds a master’s degree in applied economic sciences from the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) and a postgraduate degree from the University of Brussels (ULB), where he majored in European economics.

Marie Lassegnore

Marie began her career in 2012 as a quantitative fund of funds analyst before joining Aberdeen Asset Management in London in 2013. There, she took part in the portfolio management graduate program before joining the global credit investment team where she played a key role in developing their “low carbon” strategies and research expertise in Green and Sustainability-Linked Bonds. In 2018, Marie joined La Française AM (now Crédit Mutuel Asset Management) as a credit portfolio manager. She adapted the “climate change mitigation” strategy to credit investments and actively contributed to the development of the firm’s proprietary climate transition analysis methodology. Since 2022, she leads all engagement initiatives and oversees the ESG research team. In 2024, she took over the credit analysis team and was appointed member of the Executive committee of Credit Mutuel Asset Management. In 2025, Marie became a member of the Responsible Investment Commission of the AFG (Association Française de la Gestion Financière) and joined the Board of Directors of La Française Group UK Limited. Marie holds an undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics and Social Sciences from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a master’s degree in Management from EM Lyon Business School. She is a CFA charterholder and holds the Investment Management Certificate and the AMF Sustainable Finance certification.

Francisco Blanch

Francisco Blanch is a managing director and head of Global Commodities, Cross-Asset Quantitative Strategies & Equity Derivatives Research. Regular Research publications include: The Global Energy Weekly, Commodity Strategist, FICC Portfolio Monthly, Quantamental Insights, Quantitative Investment Strategies Panorama and ETF Options Watch. Previously, he was Head of Global Asset Allocation Research. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Blanch was an energy economist focusing on global oil & gas in the commodity research group at Goldman Sachs & Co. and consulted for the European Commission and other public and private organizations. Blanch has a master's degree in public administration from Harvard University and a doctorate in economics from Complutense University of Madrid. He is based in Madrid.

Sallianne Taylor

Sallianne Taylor is EMEA Head of Government Relations at Bloomberg. The Team advocates for Bloomberg, Bloomberg’s clients and stakeholders within the global regulatory and government space. Prior to joining the team Sallianne spent two years on secondment at His Majesty’s Treasury working on the Wholesale Market Review which concentrated on reforms to the UK’s Capital Markets following its exit from Europe. Sallianne joined Bloomberg in 1989 and has held positions within Sales, Trading Solutions and Product Development. Prior to her time at His Majesty’s Treasury, she led the Market Structure Strategy team which was a natural progression from Global Manager of Exchange Business Management where she oversaw Bloomberg’s relationships with the exchanges and trading venues. Sallianne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Italian from Royal Holloway and Bedford New College (University of London). She represents Bloomberg on the executive committee of FISD (Financial Information Services Division of the Software & Information Industry Association) and is on the board of FISD’s parent company, SIIA (Software & Information Industry Association). Sallianne was named Woman of the Year at the inaugural Waters Women in Technology & Data Awards 2018 and in the same year recognised as one of Top 100 Most Influential Women in Finance in Europe by Financial News. In 2024 Sallianne was awarded the Financial Information Lifetime Achievement Award at the 16TH biennial World Financial Information Conference. Sallianne is a trustee of The BCS Foundation which seeks to create a future where every young person can thrive in a digital world, regardless of their background.

Amanda Stent

Amanda Stent is the head of AI Strategy & Research in the Office of the CTO at Bloomberg. They have worked in several roles in industry and academia. Most recently, they served as inaugural director of the Davis Institute for AI at Colby College from 2021-2024. From 2016-2021, they served as NLP Architect in Bloomberg's Office of the CTO, a role in which they helped the company achieve and maintain technical excellence and broad applicability of NLP solutions, as well as architected and coordinated the development of new Bloomberg Terminal-based and Enterprise product offerings that use NLP. They previously held positions as Director, Research and Principal Research Scientist at Yahoo, as Principal Member of the Technical Staff at AT&T Labs — Research, and as associate professor in the Computer Science Department at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, NY. Amanda holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Rochester, has authored or co-authored over 100 papers on natural language processing, and is co-inventor on over 35 patents.

Claude Marx

Claude Marx was appointed the General Director of the CSSF by the government in February 2016. Claude is also a member of the Board of Supervisors of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). Prior to his nomination as General Director of the CSSF, Claude Marx was the CEO of Lombard International Assurance S.A., the largest unit-linked life insurance company, owned by Blackstone Tactical Opportunities. He was also Chairman of the Board of Lombard Intermediation Services S.A. Claude was with Lombard for 4 years. Prior to that, Claude worked for HSBC for 17 years, and was Deputy CEO of its Private Banking Division. At the beginning of his career, Claude worked as a lawyer with a local firm that is now Allen & Overy, as well as Arthur Andersen. Claude is a lawyer by training. He holds a Master of Laws Degree from the University of Paris and a Master of Laws in International Business Law from the University of London. He was admitted to the Luxembourg bar as Avocat à la Cour in 1990 and is fluent in English, German, French and Luxembourgish.

Yves Stein

Yves Stein has been CEO of Edmond de Rothschild (Europe) since May 2019, having been a Board member from 2018. He has international experience in a number of private banks. He began his career at Banque Générale du Luxembourg, where he worked from 1987 to 2000, first in Corporate Banking and Marketing, then as General Manager Fund Services. He continued his career at Fortis from 2000 to 2009, where he became Group CEO of Fortis Private Banking before becoming CEO of Wealth Management at BNP Paribas (Suisse) SA. He joined Union Bancaire Privée in 2010 as CEO of UBP (Europe) SA in Luxembourg. In 2013, he joined the KBL EPB group as Group CEO Private Banking, before being appointed Group CEO and member of the group's Board of Directors in 2014. Since 2018, Yves Stein has been an independent adviser on strategy and transformation for financial institutions. Yves was elected ABBL Chairman in April 2024.

Nasir Zubairi

With 28 years of experience in financial services, Nasir Zubairi is a seasoned Fintech leader who established and leads The Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) Foundation. This not-for-profit organization serves as Luxembourg's national platform for financial services digitalisation. Nasir's career began in the front offices of major financial institutions such as ICAP, HSBC, and EBS, culminating in his role as Director of High Frequency Trading (HFT) at RBS London. In 2011, Nasir made a strategic shift to Fintech, where he has been spearheading the creation and expansion of ventures in banking, lending, and payments. Having worked across eight countries in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, Nasir brings a broad international perspective. Since moving to Luxembourg in 2016, he has also served as a Non-Executive Board Director at SEB S.A, the Scandinavian bank, Montis Digital, and at the International School of Luxembourg (ISL). Nasir also serves on the Council of the British Chamber of Commerce, on the Board of Altera - a subsidiary of the Central Bank of Egypt, and on the board of EFPA Luxembourg - the European Financial Planning Association. In 2022, Nasir was honoured with the 'Officier de l'Ordre Mérite du Grand Duché de Luxembourg' for his economic contributions to the Grand Duchy. Nasir is an alumnus of the London School of Economics and a Sloan Fellow from the London Business School. He is dedicated to fostering global financial growth and innovation. His insights have been highly valued as part of Christine Lagarde’s Advisory Council for Finance and Technology at the IMF, and on the Blockchain Expert Policy Advisory Board at the OECD.

Prior to joining the Group, he served as a teacher/researcher in Applied Mathematics in the University and INSA of Rouen. Charaf received his Ph. D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Rouen in 1998. His research interests lie in the area of Numerical analysis with papers published in Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics and Rendiconti di matematica e delle sue applicazioni.

Pierre Gramegna

European Stability Mechanism

Pierre Gramegna is the Managing Director of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) - the Luxembourg-based rescue fund that helps prevent and resolve financial crises within the euro area - since 1 December 2022. He is also the CEO of the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) - the predecessor of the ESM - since 13 December 2022. Prior to these appointments, Mr Gramegna was Minister of Finance of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg and member of the ESM Board of Governors and the Eurogroup from December 2013 to January 2022. As Luxembourg’s Minister for Finance, Mr Gramegna rebalanced the national budget, aligned Luxembourg’s tax rules with international standards, and ensured compliance with the EU Stability and Growth Pact. Luxembourg’s AAA rating was consistently confirmed under his leadership. During his tenure as Finance Minister, he served as chairperson of the Ecofin Council in 2015 and was Luxembourg’s Governor in the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, European Investment Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Asian Development Bank, Asian Infrastructure and Investment Bank, and the African Development Bank. He is very committed to sustainable finance, and he participated in several COP meetings on climate change. From September 2003 to December 2013, he served as Director General of the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg. During that period, Mr Gramegna served for several years as Vice-President of Eurochambres and Chairperson of Cargolux Airlines from 2004 to 2008 in addition to being a member of several boards, including the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and BGL Fortis, later BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg SA. Prior to that, he had a diplomatic career spanning from April 1983 to August 2003, holding various posts, notably in the US as Consul General in San Francisco and in Japan as Ambassador for Luxembourg. Mr Gramegna graduated in both Law and Economics at the University of Paris II in 1982. He also holds a Master of Advanced Studies in European Community Law and was awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa by the ESCP Business School in Paris.

John Morton

John’s career in fixed income markets started in the mid '80s covering Central Banks for Merrill Lynch’s Fixed Income Sales team. In 1995 he joined Bloomberg, working in several roles, primarily as a fixed income specialist, more focused upon emerging markets, guiding the development of Bloomberg's product in this segment. In 2012 he was seconded to the UK's Ministry of Finance, better known as Her Majesty's Treasury, to provide data and understanding of OTC markets to help the UK in its negotiating position for MiFID II. This was for an initial 12 month period re-joining for a further 12 months from 2014 to help develop the UK’s ideas for Capital Markets Union as well as better calibrating bond market transparency in the Level II text for MiFID II. Following John's return to Bloomberg in 2015, he has helped to develop and promote Bloomberg's product offering in the regulatory space particularly with respect to MiFID II, SFTR, MMFR, CSDR, and more latterly, MiFIR II.

Ashley Noble

Ashley Noble leads Bloomberg's commercial business across the Nordics and Benelux. He works with a wide range of financial institutions to help navigate investment complexity -- from policy shifts and the expansion of private markets, to the rise of Al in research. Originally from the UK, Ashley has spent nearly two decades at Bloomberg, working across multiple geographies and client segments. He's a strong advocate for mentoring and inclusion in the industry and plays an active role in Bloomberg's talent development programmes. Outside work, he cycles competitively enough to suffer -- but not quite enough to win.
