With his visit to South Dakota on Friday, the president has made it to all 50 U.S. states since being elected in 2008.

On Friday, Barack Obama became the third U.S. president to travel to all 50 U.S. states while in office. Here's a look back at some of the moments from his seven-year, nationwide tour.
