To appear on South Carolina primary ballot, Republican presidential contender Donald Trump must agree to pledge ruling out third-party by Sept. 30, AP reports.
- “I hereby affirm that I generally believe in and intend to support the nominees and platform of the Republican Party in the November 8, 2016 general election,” reads the state’s 2016 presidential primary filing form, sent to the campaigns in June.
