In a last-minute shake up of her ailing re-election bid, Senator Mary Landrieu has replaced her campaign manager.

Landrieu has tapped Ryan Berni, who was once chief of staff to James Carville, to take over for Adam Sullivan, the Times-Picayune reported. Sullivan will stay on with the campaign as an advisor.

A CBS/New York Times/YouGov poll released in early October showed Landrieu trailing her Republican challenger Bill Cassidy by six points.
