Reid Rating Hits All-Time Low
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's public perception is worse than ever, according to a Gallup poll released Monday.
Just 21 percent of people gave the Nevadan a rating of "favorable," according to the poll, while 45 percent of people said they see Reid unfavorably. Another 34 percent of people said they didn't have an opinion of the leader, who has acted as one of the party's chief attack dogs for the past two election cycles.
Less than half of Democrats, 46 percent, said they see him favorably.
Americans are cool to House Speaker John Boehner too, according to the poll. Twenty-eight percent of respondents rated him favorably while half see him unfavorably and 23 percent don't have an opinion. In his own party, his rating was 46 percent, down from 50 percent in April.
Gallup polled 1,252 adults by phone from Sept. 25 to 30.
