Kasich is scheduled to speak at a session in Davos on advanced manufacturing, where he will discuss his efforts to better align education and training with available jobs. Typically, about three or four governors are invited to Davos each year based on factors including the governors’ national political standing and the presence of global companies in their states, said Paul Smyke, a special adviser to the chairman of the World Economic Forum.
