Land Rover Going to Space With Virgin Galactic

April 15 (Bloomberg) -- Land Rover had a big night last night: the company unveiled the Discovery Vision concept vehicle at a lavish event on the deck of the USS Intrepid, New York’s retired aircraft carrier-turned-museum. The concept car was chock full of groundbreaking new technologies, but it wasn’t the only big reveal the company had up its sleeve: Land Rover also announced that they will be partnering with Virgin Galactic. Gerry McGovern, Land Rover’s Design Director and Chief Creative Officer, and George Whitesides, CEO of Virgin Galactic, discuss the deal with Bloomberg.
