SNB Pledges to Keep Euro at 1.20 Francs
The Swiss central bank pledged to uphold its 15-month defense of the franc by purchasing foreign currencies in “unlimited quantities” to protect the economy. The Swiss National Bank, led by President Thomas Jordan, maintained the currency ceiling at 1.20 francs per euro today.
