Jobless Claims Unchanged; Consumer Spending Climbs

Aug. 30 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. jobless claims were little changed at 374,000 in the week ended Aug. 25, the Labor Department reported today in Washington. Consumer spending in the U.S. climbed in July for the first time in three months.
