Jan. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Intel Corp., the world’s largest semiconductor maker, reported fourth-quarter profit that topped analysts’ estimates and forecast first-quarter sales that may exceed projections, signaling that it is weathering a slump in the personal-computer market.
