Feb. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Peter Esho, Sydney-based chief market analyst at Invast Securities Co., talks about Qantas Airways Ltd. and Virgin Australia Holdings Ltd. Qantas, Australia's biggest airline, will cut 5,000 jobs and defer new jets after posting an A$252 million ($226 million) loss as Chief Executive Officer Alan Joyce steps up the case for government assistance.
