Barton Biggs Remembered by Hintz, Holland

July 16 (Bloomberg) -- Michael Holland, chairman of Holland & Co., and Brad Hintz, an analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., remember Barton Biggs, managing partner and co-founder of Traxis Partners LP. Biggs, whose attention to emerging markets during a 30-year career at Morgan Stanley made him one of the first global investment strategists, died on July 14, according to a memo to employees from Morgan Stanley Chairman and Chief Executive Officer James Gorman.
