FAA to Allow More Device Use on Flights: Huerta

Oct. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Federal Aviation Administration chief Michael Huerta speaks at a news conference about the agency's decision to allow more onboard use of portable electronic devices. The FAA will initially allow devices in "airplane mode" to be used throughout flights. Mobile-phone calls and text messages will remain forbidden at any time during flight. (Source: Bloomberg)
